ROLE PURPOSE

As the Manager - Global Sales at Space42, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s global growth trajectory by identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities for our diverse portfolio of geospatial, mobility, satellite communications, and business intelligence solutions. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, expand our international footprint, and align sales strategies with our mission to play a lead role in global AI-powered space technology. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in geospatial solutions, satellite communications, and business intelligence.
  • Promote Space42’s products and services to achieve predefined revenue goals and align with the company's broader business objectives.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain high quality, self-funded distribution channels that effectively oversee the entire sales and customer lifecycle for the company's solutions across diverse markets, in line with the Distribution Development division's strategies and goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop & qualify sales leads in Space42’s vertical markets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, government agencies, and industry partners to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Manage distribution channel partners on a day-to-day basis and work towards driving quarterly revenue objectives with the relevant Sales Partners (SPs).
  • Review SP performance quarterly, identifying areas for improvement, and finding opportunities to increase revenue from these partners.
  • Contribute to the Marketing and Sales plan by identifying market size & opportunity and planning the optimal approach to tap them.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with both advisory and decision-making stakeholders, including potential clients, existing customers, and distribution channels.
  • Collect and report business intelligence on competitors, markets and technology trends, as well as prepare sales proposals and sales forecast reports.
  • Define and implement compelling sales campaigns to enhance revenues and profit for Space42.
  • Act as a primary marketing focal point between Space42 and the Service Provider maximizing all potential marketing opportunities.
  • Participate in various exhibitions, events, trade shows and conferences as necessary.
  • Collaborate with different departments within Space42 to tailor solutions that cater to customer needs, ensuring that client requirements are comprehensively understood. Perform other functions as assigned by the immediate supervisor.   

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and/or Business Administration.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or sales leadership.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in global sales, preferably in the space-tech, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts in international markets.
  • Knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered technologies, geospatial solutions, and satellite communications.

 

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience working with government agencies or in regulated industries is desirable.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work in diverse cultural environments and adapt to varying business practices.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
