ROLE PURPOSE

As Manager - Mobility Portfolio at Space42, you will drive strategic collaborations, manage a diverse portfolio of industry alliances, and spearhead innovation in future mobility solutions. You will use your vision and expertise in autonomous vehicles, smart cities, connected mobility, and sustainable transportation to develop Space42’s mobility business, build strong strategic alliances, and commercialize cutting-edge mobility technology. You will play a key role at the intersection of the automotive, transportation, AI, and urban mobility industries.

• Identify, evaluate, and establish high-value partnerships with automotive OEMs, mobility startups, government agencies, urban planners, and technology providers (e.g., AI, IoT, battery tech, hydrogen fuel, V2X).
• Develop and implement portfolio strategies that align with the company’s innovation and market expansion goals in next-gen mobility.
• Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, ensuring mutual value creation and long-term scalability.
• Monitor, analyze, and anticipate emerging trends in autonomous driving, electric mobility, multimodal transportation, MaaS (Mobility as a Service), and regulatory advancements.
• Serve as a thought leader in next-generation mobility by participating in industry forums, panels, and working groups.
• Work closely with R&D, product teams, and external stakeholders to incubate and accelerate new mobility solutions.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of strategic mobility projects, pilots, and ecosystem partnerships, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee project execution, tracking milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ROI.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to assess the impact and performance of partnerships.
• Engage with internal teams (engineering, strategy, marketing, legal, finance) to align partnership initiatives with business objectives.
• Collaborate with government bodies and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with evolving mobility laws and policies.
• Advocate for sustainable and equitable mobility solutions that contribute to smart city development. 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Urban Planning, Mobility, or related fields.
• 7-10+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategy in the mobility, automotive, or tech industry.
• Deep knowledge of emerging mobility technologies, smart cities, and industry trends.
• Experience working with autonomous vehicle tech, EV infrastructure, V2X, AIdriven transportation, IoT, and digital mobility ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of partnership economics, business models (B2B, B2C, B2G), and revenue-sharing structures.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to mobility (e.g., NHTSA, UNECE, MaaS regulations).

• Strategic thinking with the ability to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for sustainable, smart, and inclusive mobility solutions.
• Experience in venture capital, startup ecosystems, or mobility accelerators.
• Background in AI/ML, robotics, or digital twin technology as applied to transportation.
• Expertise in public-private partnerships and smart city mobility initiatives.
• Knowledge of carbon neutrality, ESG policies, and mobility sustainability frameworks.
