ROLE PURPOSE

As Solutions Architect - Mobility at Space42, you will design, develop, and implement scalable and innovative mobility solutions that align with business objectives. You will ensure seamless integration of mobility technologies, cloud infrastructure, IoT, and AI-driven solutions to enhance autonomous mobility, smart transportation, and connected vehicle ecosystems. You will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define end-to-end mobility architectures, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

• Define and design end-to-end mobility architecture that integrates cloud, AI, IoT, and V2X communication.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance mobility solutions to support connected and autonomous vehicles.
• Establish best practices for API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-based mobility platforms.
• Ensure that mobility solutions align with business strategy, industry regulations, and emerging trends.
• Oversee the integration of connected vehicle platforms, mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) solutions, and telematics systems.
• Implement real-time data processing architectures for mobility analytics and predictive insights.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless connectivity across multi-cloud environments.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of emerging technologies for mobility ecosystems.
• Ensure end-to-end security in mobility solutions, covering encryption, IAM, and data privacy.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and mobility industry standards.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and resilience of cloud-hosted mobility platforms.
• Conduct performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and failover strategy development.
• Work closely with Mobility Solution Lead, product managers, and business analysts to define solution requirements.
• Engage with external technology partners, cloud vendors, and automotive OEMs to drive innovation.
• Support sales and business teams in technical pre-sales, proof of concepts (PoCs), and solution demonstrations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to engineering teams on mobility architecture.
• Explore edge computing, 5G, and AI-driven insights to enhance mobility solutions.
• Drive mobility digital transformation through smart city initiatives, IoT-based mobility, and cloud-native architectures.
• Contribute to the company’s roadmap on autonomous vehicle integration and V2X communication frameworks. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, mobility platforms, or cloud computing.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and microservices-based architectures.
• Strong experience in connected vehicle solutions, IoT frameworks, and V2X technology.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration, real-time data streaming, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and Kubernetes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Certifications in Cloud Architecture (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience working with mobility-as-a-service (MaaS), smart city technologies, or autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Knowledge of blockchain-based identity management and cybersecurity in mobility ecosystems.
• Strong technical background in API management, graph databases, and geospatial data processing.
